Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Bridgr collects, why, and how you can exercise your rights over it. Bridgr acts as the data controller for the personal data described below.

1. Data Controller

Bridgr is operated by Ilan Elkeslassy, an individual based in Israel. Contact: bridgr26@gmail.com.

2. Data We Collect

Account data (name, email, password hash); profile data you choose to add (photo, bio, sectors, countries covered); content you post (needs, offers, messages exchanged in the chat); transaction data (plan, credits, unlock history) processed via our payment provider; technical data (device, browser, approximate location from IP) used for security and fraud prevention.

3. Why We Use It

To create and secure your account, to operate the matching and messaging features, to process payments, to send service emails (match requests, unlocks, receipts), to prevent fraud and abuse, and to improve the Service. The legal basis is the performance of our contract with you (our Terms), our legitimate interest in running and securing the platform, and, where applicable, your consent (e.g. marketing emails).

4. Who We Share It With

We share data with the service providers that make Bridgr work: our hosting and database provider (Supabase), our payment processor (Stripe, which handles your card details directly — Bridgr never stores full card numbers), and our transactional email provider (Resend). We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data if required by law.

5. Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period afterwards as required for accounting, legal, or dispute-resolution purposes. You can request deletion at any time (see your rights below).

6. Your Rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact bridgr26@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).

7. Cookies

Bridgr uses strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your language preference. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

8. International Transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls, row-level security on our database) to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

10. Children

Bridgr is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.

12. Contact

Questions about this Policy, or requests regarding your data, can be sent to bridgr26@gmail.com.
